Scott Andrew has been named Best Director at the Globe Theatre Awards (Palmerston North) for his direction of the May 2014 Abbey Musical Theatre Production of "Rent".

This is the third time Scott has won the Best Director category, with the previous awards being for his direction of Stephen Sondheim's "Putting it Together" in 2009; and for the Pahiatua production of "Les Misérables" in 2006, which performed a return season at the Regent on Broadway (Palmerston North) in 2007.
